The President of the Macau Construction Industry Environmental Protection Society warned yesterday that the levels of pollution in the air will pose a problem for the SAR in the future. Antonio Trindade also said that Macau inhabitants have already felt the consequences of the deterioration in air quality. Mr. Trindade stated that air pollution is not yet a serious problem but that it has to decrease in the short to medium term. He pointed to a different management system of the public transportation network as a solution to the problem.
