The operator of Macau International Airport has publicly invited bids for the duty-free retailing concessions at the airport. The airport operator intends to select two bidders, each of which will get about half the shop space at the airport. Each must pay rent of MOP600 per square metre of shop space per month, and pay commission on its sales. King Power Duty Free (Macau) Co Ltd’s exclusive duty-free retailing concession at the airport expires in November.
