Demand for healthy food unsatisfied, retailer says

The co-founder of Greens Kitchen & Juicery, Sophie Lei, believes so far unsatisfied demand for organically grown and other healthy kinds of food means the industry she is in has good prospects, Business Daily reports. “I think the business has potential as long as clients understand the concept and are willing to try,” the newspaper quotes Ms Lei as saying in an interview. “Our shop is small. Serving 40 to 50 customers per day can already make us very busy. So, broadly, the supply is still very low.” Greens Kitchen & Juicery sells freshly-pressed juice, salads and snacks.
