The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) is investigating a local hotel that is alleged to have launched fake recruitment procedures, according to the bureau’s director Wong Chi Hong, as reported by local broadcaster TDM Radio. Without revealing the name of the involved hotel, the official said the Bureau had received complaints from four workers, who claimed the hotel only informed them that there was no need for them to start the new jobs after they had signed a contract with the company. The Bureau is now investigating the case and expects the investigation will be completed in the following months with the results to be directly announced to those who lodged the complaints, said Mr. Wong.
