English-teaching company sees Macau demand growing

Language-teaching company EF Education First says demand by Macau people for its help in making them more proficient in English has increased in recent years, Business Daily reports. “We foresee the demands [sic] for English education will only get higher in Macau, as the local government is aiming to turn the city into a medium-sized international city by 2020,” the newspaper quotes EF Education First Macau general manager Adrian Kwok as saying. The company set up its first school in Macau in February to meet this demand, Macau students having previously attended the company’s schools in Hong Kong.
