Gaming revenue in Nevada up 3.7 percent in July

The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported this week that casinos in Nevada won US$860 million (MOP6.88 billion) in July, an increase of 3.7 percent year-on-year. Gambling wins at Las Vegas Strip casinos went up 1.6 percent, to US$469 million. The results ended two straight months of double-digit gaming revenue increases both state-wide and on the Strip. In July, Macau’s casinos posted a gross gaming revenue increase of MOP24.21 billion, a 48.4 percent year-on-year growth, according to data from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
