MacauÂ’s Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) said it has not received any reports of injuries or deaths of local residents when Nepal was hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that killed more than 1,800 people on Saturday. The Office also noted that it did not receive any enquiries or cases asking for help from residents travelling in the country so far. The deadly earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday triggered avalanches on Mount Everest, killing 18 foreign climbers. A fresh 6.7-magnitude aftershock that hit the country yesterday afternoon has also hampered efforts to find survivors.
