Las Vegas Sands Corp chief operating officer Michael Leven will be the keynote speaker at the inaugural Japan Gaming Congress, to be held in Tokyo from May 14 to 16, the conference organiser says. The organiser, Clarion Events, says the conference will be an opportunity for the main stakeholders in the gaming industry and government officials to discuss the best way to develop casino resorts in Japan if casino gambling is legalised there. The conference will take place just before Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association hold the Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) in Macau, from May 20 to 22.
