Macau buying more Portuguese products

Exports from Portugal to Macau rose almost 9 percent year-on-year in the first five months of 2010. Macau imported products worth a total of US$7 million, according to the Portuguese news agency Lusa. Exports from Portugal to Hong Kong almost doubled in the same period, to US$47 million. Mainland China is also buying more Portuguese products – from January-May 2010, Portugal sold products worth US$270 million to Mainland China, a year-on-year increase of more than 80 percent.
