Security, cleaning and advertising services reported year-on-year revenue increases last year, the 2011 Service Sector Survey shows. According to the survey, released by the Statistics and Census Service on Friday, total revenue from the security services sector amounted to MOP673 million (US$84.1 million) last year, up by 26.4 percent year-on-year. Total revenue of cleaning services amounted to MOP384 million, up by 12.9 percent over 2010. In addition, the advertising sector reported total revenue rising by 7.1 percent year-on-year to MOP369 million. On the contrary, companies operating in the conference and exhibition organising field and in real estate management services registered revenue decreases, with total revenue dropping by 34.2 percent year-on-year to MOP133 million and 2 percent to MOP808 million, respectively.
