Sino-luso Forum opening doors

The Economic & Trade Co-operation and Human Resources Portal between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (the Portal) has recorded 300,000 accesses since its inception nearly two years ago, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) announced yesterday.
According to IPIM, the Portal currently gathers information on more than 10,000 kinds of food products originating from Portuguese-speaking countries, and has attracted over 14,000 subscribers.
The Portal was launched on April 1, 2015, following up on the eight measures announced by the Central Government during the 4th Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macau) in 2013, a white paper by IPIM reads.
In addition to the online platform, the Portal was recently launched in a version for mobile phones.
Co-ordinated by IPIM, the Portal is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Office of the Secretary for the Economy and Finance of the Macau SAR.
