Stanley Ho to receive Hong Kong’s highest honour

Stanley Ho Hung Sun will be honoured this year with the Grand Bauhinia Medal, Hong Kong’s highest honour. Hong Kong government said the SJM boss’ "outstanding contribution to charity and community service" and the "important role" he has played in education, sports and the welfare of young people have earned him such an honour. The presentation ceremony will be held in October. “I am greatly honoured and delighted to be awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal,” Stanley Ho Hung Sun said yesterday in a statement. Ho was conferred the Grand Lotus Medal of Honour by Macau, the city’s highest honour, in 2007.
