V Air to suspend Taipei-Macau service on July 10

Taiwan low-cost airline V Air will suspend its service between Taipei and Macau on July 10, only three months after it began, the island’s Central News Agency reports. The news agency quotes the airline as saying the passenger load factor on its Taipei-Macau return flights is only 40 percent. The airline said the flight schedule put the service at a competitive disadvantage. V Air is owned by Taiwan’s TransAsia Airways.
