The Asia Championship of Poker Platinum Series VI is due to begin soon at PokerStars LIVE Macau in the City of Dreams casino-resort. The ACOP Platinum Series Main Event is a US$5,500 (MOP43,912) buy-in tournament. It is a freeze-out, and the event plays down to a winner, but the top 10 players qualify for the ACOP Platinum Series Playoff, a free roll which gives players the chance to win a HK$100,000 ACOP Main Event seat. The free roll event will have the top 10 players from each of the ACOP Platinum Series tournaments this year, and is due to take place online on October 5.
