The City of Dreams’ PokerStars Live room will host January’s 20th instalment of the Macau Poker Cup. PokerStars Macau said the casino-resort would host 12 official Asia Player of the Year events during the 12-day event. The schedule includes the Baby Dragon, a tournament with a HK$1-million guaranteed prize pool and HK$6,000 buy-in, and the Red Dragon Main Event with a HK$8-million prize pool. PokerStars says the Macau Poker Cup is Asia’s biggest poker series and is expecting a record number of players.
