Macau International Airport (MIA) recorded its busiest month ever in August, processing over 630,000 passenger movements and over 5,000 aircraft movements for the first time, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) announced last week. The local airport operator says that both these figures set new records, increasing by 10 per cent and 2.8 per cent over last year, respectively. In August, the airport also handled about 120,000 local resident travellers, a year-on-year growth of 11 per cent.
