City of Dreams has announced that the first weekend for ‘The House of Dancing Water’ is already sold out. The over HK$2 billion production is set to open its doors to the public on Friday, September 17, and it is the entertainment centerpiece of City of Dreams’ leisure and entertainment offering. Sunny Yu, vice president of entertainment and projects of Melco Crown Entertainment said: “The initial opening interest from show-seekers is very encouraging – our shows’ tickets of September 17 to 19, 2010 are all sold out. “We are confident that this early excitement and demand will continue to grow as this awe-inspiring theatrical spectacle opens to the public.” Ticket sales “are being further reinforced with an aggressive new marketing campaign” and “solid backing from corporate sales and marketing promotions,” City of Dreams announced.
