Macau’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to MOP137.0 billion (US$17.1 billion) at the end of January, the monetary authority has announced. The reserves increased by 3.4 percent month-on-month. Macau’s foreign exchange reserves at end-January represented 18 times the currency in circulation.
