Macau’s unemployment rate was 1.7 percent in the three months ended December 31, the same as in the three months ended November 30, official data show. The Statistics and Census Service says the underemployment rate was also steady, at 0.4 percent. The labour force increased to 405,500 and the labour force participation rate was 74.4 percent. The number of workers in employment rose by 2,400 to 398,600. The number of unemployed rose by 100 to 7,000.
