MB Golf Tournament helps Nepalese charity

The Annual Macau Business Charity Golf Tournament continues to distribute money to charities and social projects around the region. The latest organisation to receive support is Olga’s Promise, an institution that works in the field of children’s welfare in Nepal. One of the winners of this year’s edition of the golf tournament, Hong Kong-based investment group Silver Heritage, chose to name Olga’s Promise to forward part of their winnings to. In Lalitpur, Nepal, Tim Shepherd, Silver Heritage’s executive director, handed over a HK$100,000 (US$12,900) cheque to Olga Murray, the 87-year-old who founded the charity organisation as a result of a trip to Nepal 25 years ago.
