Sands China Ltd. announced that Toh Hup Hock has been appointed as an executive director of the company with effect from June 30, 2010. Toh, aged 45, is Sands China’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. He joined Las Vegas Sands group in April 2007 and served as senior vice president, finance until November 2009 when he was appointed to his current position. Toh had a 15-year career with General Electric Company prior to joining Las Vegas Sands. Toh will serve as an executive director of Sands China without any specific term. He will not receive any director’s fees as an executive director of the company. As executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company, Toh receives emoluments of US$648,000 per annum, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 40 percent of his annual salary. Three weeks ago, Stephen Weaver retired as an executive director of Sands China “due to personal commitments.”
