Special Olympics Golf Masters tees off next month

The second edition of the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Golf Masters Tournament, hosted by the Charity Association of Macau Business Readers, tees off from April 22 to 27 at Caesars Golf Macau. A total of 14 teams of the best Special Olympics golfers from 12 different countries and regions, accompanied by some 50 local golfers and corporate representatives, will join the event. The Special Olympics Tournament will again welcome Level 1 and 2 teams in order to develop golf for athletes with mental disabilities. Level 1 is an individual skills competition in which athletes will be tested in short and long putts, while level 2 comprises a two-round 9-hole competition whereby athletes and guardians (local golfers) team up in a best-ball format so that they can learn from each other, developing and improving their golf skills together.
