Terri Lanni passes away

Former MGM Mirage chief executive officer Terry Lanni passed away last week. Mr Lanni, who stepped down in 2008 as chief executive officer of the company now known as MGM Resorts International, died at age 68, after a two-year battle with cancer. He oversaw MGM’s expansion to Macau, in a joint-venture with businesswoman Pansy Ho Chiu King. “He was a great representative of the industry at a time when it was becoming mainstream,” said Frank Fahrenkopf, executive director of the American Gaming Association.
