Thailand authorities are not eyeing to open the country to casinos. The government has no plan at this stage to allow construction of Thailand’s first legal casino, Bangkok Post quoted Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra as saying. The Thai Government Lottery Office director Wanchai Surakul admitted recently he had submitted a proposal for the setting up of a casino in Thailand for the government to consider.
